Katherine Lawrence papers, 1943-2006.

Materials collected by USAF veteran Tammy Schroeder while working to ensure that Lawrence was given proper recognition as a veteran of World War II each Memorial Day. Contains biographical sketch, correspondence, copy of death certificate and accident report. Also includes correspondence regarding posthumous military recognition for Lawrence and news clippings. Three photographs depict Lawrence as a young woman and the remainder are of the 2006 military graveside service.
